The cycle of human life starts at birth and terminates at death. This journey is characterized by initial robust growth, midlife flourishing, and eventual decline. Each of these phases of life brings with it, its own challenges, opportunities, and experiences.
The focus of this Strategic Plan is the retirement phase of my life. Life in retirement is marked by the transition from the structured routines of employment, which can often result into one’s loss of identity, routine, and social connections. While some eagerly anticipate retirement as a time of leisure and relaxation, others may approach it with apprehension, grappling with questions of purpose and identity outside of the workplace.
This strategic plan is my personal meaning-making process where I aim to re-define my sense of fulfilment and purpose in life outside of traditional roles and responsibilities. The aim of it, is to provide me with structured approach to embracing the fullness of each moment of life going forward, with gratitude and acceptance.
